A glimpse into the not too distant past of Portobello, in Edinburgh. This large scale small edition original art shows how the Promenade used to be.
This, vintage inspired, picture has a large clear sky above Fun City in Portobello, Edinburgh. It shows the range of amusements and shops at the Figgate Burn end of the Prom. The power station, open air pool and King’s Road can all bee seen, along with all the beachgoers and bathers. Created with gentle colours, a clean border and bold dark screen-print, this piece is a great decorative talking point.
All pieces are completed A2 (approx. 59cm x 42cm) on 300gsm bright white card, using acrylic aerosol paints and water-based inks. They are all individually hand stencilled, embossed and come backed on cardboard and sealed in a cellophane slip. A plastic free ‘Eco Option’ is available at checkout. With this option the art is rolled carefully into cardboard packaging with tissue paper.
