Born in Portobello, Edinburgh, Jean studied at Edinburgh College of Art. She exhibited with her twin sister Molly in Glasgow, Edinburgh and other venues including The Old City Gallery, Jerusalem; Dundee and St. Andrews. This piece is a self portrait through the mirror of a wardrobe. The details are shown through grey tones and a flattened plane.
