Large scale oil painting by well recorded Belgian artist. Thick oils applied in many places with a wide bristled brush. Fluid strokes giving impressions of form effectively. A reduced palette of colour give the building a sombre, reflective feeling. Great focal piece, looks great above fireplace. Could do with a gentle brush and light clean.
